Frequently Asked Questions
What’s the difference between futures and the stock market?
Futures are a way to predict the movement of the “normal” funds. For example, if you think the S&P is going to have a positive movement, futures allows you to trade the relative contracts. A futures contract is a stipulation to buy or sell at a later point in time, similar to options.
Can I lose more than my initial investment?
No. You're trading on simulated capital, so the money in your bank account is never on the line. The worst that happens is you hit your account's loss limit and the account closes. That's it. No surprise bills, no calls asking you to cover a loss. Just your skills being tested, not your savings.
What hours are futures open?
Pretty much all of them. Markets run close to 23 hours a day, Sunday evening right through Friday afternoon. So whether you're trading with your morning coffee or sneaking in a session at 2am, the market's awake when you are.
What is a prop firm?
It's short for proprietary trading firm, and the idea is simple. We put up the capital so you can trade bigger than your own wallet would ever allow. You show us you can trade by passing an evaluation, we fund you, and you keep most of what you make. You bring the skill, we bring the money.
Can I trade on mobile?
What's tradable on the futures market?
Honestly, most of what moves the world. Stock indices like the S&P 500 and Nasdaq, metals like gold and silver, energy like crude oil and natural gas, plus currencies, bonds, and even crops. One account, and the whole global market is in front of you.
