Tradeify vs Take Profit Trader - A Flat
90/10 Without the Upgrade Path

How we approach it

Why traders move from Take Profit Trader to Tradeify
TPT is a strong option, especially on day-one payouts. Here’s what usually pulls traders to Tradeify.
A flat 90/10, no tier to climb
No 80/20 PRO tier to
upgrade out of.
EOD drawdown without upgrading
EOD on the standard path, not only on PRO+.
No buffer to build first
A plan-based path to payouts.
Their own platform
Trade where they already work, with a built-in journal.

Why traders choose
Tradeify over Take Profit
Trader
From traders who made the switch.
"I defended Take Profit Trader in trading forums for two years. Then they changed the payout structure mid-quarter without notice and I lost a withdrawal I had planned around. Moved to Tradeify expecting a downgrade — better spreads, faster payouts, support that actually communicates. I don't refer people to Take Profit Trader anymore."

Three steps. No surprises.

Take Profit Trader advertises 90/10. Why does everyone say it's really 80/20?
Because TPT's funded PRO accounts pay 80/20. Tradeify pays 90/10 from your first payout, on every account.
What's the "buffer" I keep hearing about with TPT?
Tradeify's Select Daily plan has a buffer too, but it works differently: clear it and you can request a payout the same day. TPT locks up your starting balance plus your max drawdown, and that buffer only pays out when you close the account, at just 50% if you've traded fewer than 60 days.
Will my drawdown rules change once I'm funded?
Not with Tradeify. TPT's evaluation runs end-of-day drawdown, then switches to intraday trailing the moment you're funded, a change that catches a lot of traders off guard in their first week on PRO.
Is the evaluation a one-time cost like Tradeify's?
With TPT, no, it bills monthly (roughly $150 to $360 depending on size) until you pass, cancel, or reset. Every account Tradeify sells is a single one-time purchase, with no recurring charges ever.
Is there a fee to activate my funded account?
Not with Tradeify. TPT charges a one-time $130 fee to move from their Test phase into a funded PRO account, on top of whatever you already paid for the evaluation.
How fast do I get paid?
Tradeify reviews requests within 24-48 hours, seven days a week. TPT is quick too, generally within about a business day, but only on profit that's already cleared their buffer requirement.
What if I fail my evaluation?
Tradeify lets you reset for $60 to $239 with no cap on attempts. TPT charges about $100 to reset the Test, and $399 to $999 (capped at 3 attempts) if you fail after getting funded on PRO.
What consistency rule do I need to hit?
Tradeify asks for 35-40% during evaluation, and that's the whole story. TPT asks for 50% during their Test, then removes the requirement entirely once you're funded, meaning you're graded hardest right when you're just getting started.
What account sizes can I choose?
Tradeify offers 25K, 50K, 100K, and 150K. TPT covers a similar range with an extra 75K step in between.
Which platforms can I trade on?
Tradeify runs on the same brokers TPT supports across its 15+ platforms, Tradovate, Rithmic, or WealthCharts, so your existing setup carries straight over.
I already trade with TPT. Do I have to give that up?
No, you can open a Tradeify account and run it alongside your TPT account for as long as you want before deciding where to focus.
Are there fees I should watch for that aren't obvious?
Not with Tradeify, just commissions and an optional reset if you ever need one. TPT adds a $130 activation fee and a $50 charge on any withdrawal of exactly $250 or less.
